Swan Forest is a partnership between two legendary art cars at Black Rock City: Prodigal Swan—the towering, fire-breathing metallic swan mutant vehicle—and ForestHouse—the glowing, LED-lit, two-story forest art car. Together we unite 140+ burners under one banner of community, art, and radical self-expression.
We build shared infrastructure, pool resources, and create a welcoming playa home none of us could make alone. A luminous, fiery sanctuary that invites burners to glide in gracefully, burn brightly, and leave a little wilder than they arrived.

Xanadu — A long-standing ForestHouse ally, Xanadu brings its own crew and energy to the Swan Forest footprint, sharing resources and amplifying the community across our shared block.
On The Edge/Frooogs — In case you're wondering what On The Edge is… it's really the same family and group of friends you know from the old Frooogs camp — we just can't use the Frooogs name anymore. This year, we're creating our own little “camp within the camp” inside Swan Forest, bringing together our crew, our decorated RVs, and all the little touches that made our previous years so special. The name may have changed, but the hospitality, the people, and the spirit haven't — combining our resources and experience with the wider Swan Forest community to help power one of the Playa's most ambitious interactive camps.
